Human + Tech to Co-Host Event

Did you know Chatbots can write speeches, poems, and more? Join us February 2, when our Masters of Ceremonies will be Ben Reno-Weber AND ChatGPT.

OpenAI trained a model called ChatGPT which interacts in a conversational way. The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer followup questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests. ChatGPT is a sibling model to InstructGPT, which is trained to follow an instruction in a prompt and provide a detailed response.

The improvements and capabilities of ChatGPT are amazing. Ben will be prompting ChatGPT by typing in prompts such as, "Write me an introductory speech for an AI conference on placemaking". Then he will read what the bot tells him to say. Things should get interesting!

The Future of Work – The Future of Us

In her keynote speech, Rocki Rockingham, Chief Human Resources Officer for GE Appliances, will share about why inclusion and diversity is at the core of the Future of Work.

“It’s about giving people opportunities to learn, to grow, to fulfill their dreams… to change the economic trajectory of their families and build a different life – a better life.  And for every life we change, we help change the fabric of this community.  The future of work is more equitable for everyone - no matter who you are, where you were born and where you live.  Isn’t that a future we all want to embrace? This is the Future of Work – this is the Future of Us.”
